Hon. Adegoriola Adewale Steve, The House of Representatives hopeful has extended his appreciation to the good people of Ondo state for not joining the August nationwide protest.
He disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday evening.
The statement reads, “I extend my heartfelt commendation to the residents of Ondo State for their exemplary conduct and restraint during the recent nationwide protests.
Your decision not to participate in the demonstration is a testament to your remarkable sense of responsibility and commitment to maintaining peace within our state and community.
“We fully recognized that the economic difficulties and other pressing issues have generated significant frustration among many citizens. However, i urge everyone to exercise patience and maintain faith in the government’s efforts. President Bola Tinubu is actively engaged in addressing these challenges and Mr President is dedicated to finding effective solutions that will benefit all Nigerians.
“The President and his administration are fully aware of the concerns raised by the public and are working diligently to implement the necessary reforms and measures. I assure you that the government is committed to resolving these issues and improving the overall quality of life for all citizens.
“Your continued support, understanding, and patience during this period are crucial as we collectively work towards overcoming these challenges. I am confident that, with your cooperation and the government’s ongoing efforts, we will navigate this period successfully and achieve positive outcomes.
“Thank you for your unwavering commitment to peace and progress. Together, we will overcome these challenges and build a stronger, more prosperous nation
