2024 Guber Elections: PDP Set For Inauguration As Gov Adeleke To Lead Ondo Campaign Against APC, Others

THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will on Thursday, June 27, 2024, inaugurates Edo and Ondo State’s governorship election national campaign council.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had scheduled the Edo state governorship election to be held on September 21 while that of Ondo State will be held on November 16, 2024.

PDP, in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, said, “The National Working Committee (NWC) of our Great Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the exercise of its powers, and under its commitment of ensuring victory for our Party at the upcoming Governorship Elections in Edo and Ondo States respectively, has approved the inauguration of Edo and Ondo State Governorship Election National Campaign Councils.”

The inauguration, according to PDP will be held at the party’s national secretariat, adding, “all leaders, critical stakeholders and members of the Edo and Ondo State Governorship Election National Campaign Councils should take note and be guided accordingly.”

This newspaper gathered that Osun state Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke will lead thr PDP national campaign in Ondo state.
