THE Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA), congratulates Muslims brethren in the world particularly Osun State on the celebration of 2024 Eid-ul-Adha festivities.
In a congratulatory statement made available to the newsmen by the Chairman of the Association Mukhtar Ajelogbon in Osogbo through the Association Public Relations Officer, Yusuf Idowu, described the essence of Eid Kabir lies in sharing our blessings and ensuring the spirit of love and generosity reaches every corner of our society.
“It is my honor and privilege to extend heartfelt greetings to all Muslims celebrating this significant festival.
“Eid-al-Adha, commemorates the profound act of faith and obedience demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) when he was willing to sacrifice his son as an act of submission to God’s will.
“This festival is a reminder of the virtues of sacrifice, charity, and devotion. It encourages us all to reflect on our responsibilities towards our communities and those in need.
“During this time of celebration, let us also remember the less fortunate and extend our support to them through acts of charity and kindness.
“May this joyous occasion bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to all. Let us use this time to foster harmony and understanding among different faiths and communities, building a world where mutual respect and compassion prevail.
“On behalf of members of our great association, I wish you all a very happy and blessed Eid-el-Kabir. May our prayers be accepted, and sacrifices be rewarded. Eid Mubarak” Ajelogbon said.
