Ifon-osun Community Commends Governor Adeleke For Lifting Curfew On Communities

OSUN: People of Ifon-Osun, Orolu Kingdom, has commended Sen. Dr Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke for his swift and decisive action for adopting preemptive measures and lifting the curfew placed on Ifon-Osun and Ilobu towns.

In a statement signed by Akeeb Adekunle Yusuff, the Chief Press Secretary to Olufon of Ifon-Osun, Orolu Kingdom and the Aremọ Obatala of the Universe, Said; “Mr Governor’s commitment to restoring peace and harmony to these communities is commendable. The people of Ifon-Osun are ready and eager to embrace peace and cooperate with the government of Osun State to ensure lasting peace in this part of the state.

“The lifting of the curfew will have a significant positive impact on the economy of our community. It will allow businesses to resume normal operations, promote trade, and restore the livelihoods of the residents. Mr Governor’s leadership and timely intervention have averted further escalation of the situation and have set the stage for reconciliation and peaceful coexistence.”

“We also want to appreciate the Governor and his cabinet members for their proactive and effective management of the clash situation. The government of Osun State has been very instrumental in calming tensions and restoring hope to our communities. We are confident that under his guidance, our communities will emerge stronger and more united than ever before,” the Olufon of Ifon-Osun, Orolu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Ọba Peter Oluwole Ipadeola Ilufemiloye, Akinyooye III remarked.

“Thank you for your unwavering commitment to the peaceful co-existence of the people of Osun and your commitment to the prosperity of the State. We assure you that Orolu Kingdom remains committed to peace and development of our beloved Osun State,” statement reads.
