1445 Ramadan: South East Muslim Community Forum Greets Nigerian Muslims

THE South East Muslim Community Forum (SEMCOF), under the leadership of Sheikh Dr. Haroun Ogbonnia Ajah has sent a Ramadan message to the Muslims worldwide about this year blessed month of Ramadan.

The forum, In a statement signed by Engr. Isiaka A. Salmon
SEMCOF BoT Secretary-General, urged the Muslims to observe this year Ramadan with sincere repentance to Allah and take the inherited lessons of the month seriously as a panacea towards resolving socio, economic and political issues around the world. The lessons which include patience, closeness to Allah, gratitude, compassion, self-reflection, among others are capable of changing the world (Nigeria inclusive) for better if inculcated into our daily activities.

SEMCOF further enjoined the Muslims to reach out to the less privileged in their respective communities in order to ease the economic hardship being faced and make the month a memorable one for all and sundry.

The message which was released in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State of Nigeria concluded by praying to Almighty Allah SWT to ease all the affairs of the Ummah around the world and strengthen us more for continued services to His deen and humanity in general. Ramadan Mubarak.”
