Governor Ademola Adeleke has felicitated with the muslim ummah on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan, describing the spiritual month as “an era of cleansing and revival”
In a statement issued on the first day of the month-long fasting, the State Governor noted the significance of the holy month of Ramadan, stressing that “this is a period to seek the face of God and empower oneself on the path of Allah for divine mercy, favour and grace.
“I join all muslim faithful to welcome this blessed month of revival, forgiveness and mercy. We are set for a divine exercise of immense value and opportunities. This is the much awaited month when our desires and longing for the Almighty God is expected to be fulfilled.
“As a government, we associate with all believers and seek divine support for the ongoing good governance transformation in Osun state.
“I urge our clerics and the muslim ummah to pray for the state. May the almighty God bless us all and answer our prayers and supplications”, the Governor solicited.
