PHOTOS: Osun Govt Sensitizes Residents On Family Planning, Distributes Protection Items On Int’l Women’s Day 2024 In Osogbo

On Friday, March 8, 2024, as the world celebrate women, family planning stakeholders in Osun State storm the street of Osogbo, the capital of the state in commemoration of the International Women’s Day 2024.

The sensitization campaign took place at Olaiya axis down to Alekuwodo Market area, as the residents received free condoms for men and women.

Speakers educate the public (‘clients’) on the importance and benefits of Family Planning and the need for Women to be educated and not being idle and relying on their husbands for their daily financial expenses.

The audiences including men are urged to abstain from rape and domestic violence that can endanger their lives.

Husbands and wives are encouraged to come together to plan their family to enjoy a better life for the benefits of the parents and children.

The campaign was led by the Osun State Coordinator for Family Planning, Mrs. Ololade Abatan.
