Timothy Adegoke: A’Court Set To Hear Adedoyin’s Case

THE Court of Appeal sitting in Akure, Ondo State will today, Tuesday hear the appeal filed by the founder of Hilton Royal hotel, Ile-Ife, Dr Ramon Adedoyin over the death sentence handed on him and three of his staff by the Osun State High court.

Adedoyin and three others were found guilty of conspiracy to murder and murder of a student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Timothy Adegoke by the court presided over by Osun Chief Judge, Adepele Ojo.

Two other staff were set free and acquitted while one was sentenced to two-year imprisonment over involvement.

The judgement was delivered on May 30, 2023 in Osogbo.

Not satisfied with the judgement, Adedoyin filed an appeal at the court to challenge his death sentencing.

The court will today listen to argument from counsels for both parties in the suit.
