Midas Radio 90.5FM Promotes Historical Values, As First Ever 24 Hours Broadcasting Service In Ekiti

EKITI: In the history of radio broadcasting service in the state since its creation on October 1, 1996, Midas Radio 90.5 FM made an history of delivering the first 24 hours radio station in the state, commencing full transmission on the 1st of January 2024.

Midas Radio 90.5 FM, which is located at 15 – 19, Midas Avenue, University road, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, is owned by an indigene of the State, and Ikoro Ekiti born business mogul, Mr. Kayode Olusemire.

The brand is borne out of the genuine desire of the principal to continue to invest in his home state in order to empower and generate more employment for people.

The station is also managed by an indigene of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayobami Olugbenga-Wyse, with almost two decades of media and broadcasting experience under his belt.

According to Olugbenga-Wyse, “the radio station began with a desire to make a bold statement of representing and repositioning radio broadcasting in Ekiti State and its immediate environs.”

He noted that the radio station will entrench the ethics, cultural, and historical values of Ekiti people and the Yoruba race.

“Midas Radio 90.5FM boasts of state of the arts facilities, and parades an array of dynamic and seasoned young broadcasters who together, have developed rich and unique contents, which are tailored to entrench the ethics, cultural, and historical values of the Ekiti people and the Yoruba race.
