A new Commissioner of Police, Bzigu Dali Kwazhi, has been posted to Osun State Command.
In a statement signed by the Command spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola and obtained by DAILY POST on Friday, also stated that CP Kwazhi has since resumed duty on Thursday, January 4, 2023.
Opalola also added that Kwazhi’s deployment to the command was sequel to the recent redeployment of former Commissioner of Police, Isyaku Mohammed.
The statement revealed that CP Kwazhi is a thoroughbred professional who has made waves in several police assignments.
“He was born in Mildu Shalmi, Madagali L.G.A of Adamawa State. He has grown to become an achiever.
“The Commissioner of Police, a holder of B.A in History/Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Kaduna State was SEC 45 alumnus of the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, Jos,
“He was appointed into the Nigeria Police Force in May, 1992 as Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (Cadet ASP).
“CP Bzigu Kwazhi has served in various capacities at different states of the country and outside Nigeria.
“A pure-bred professional who has, since joining the FORCE, made waves in the departments that hold the Nigeria Police, namely: administration, operations and investigations like a colossus.
“He was a Contingent Commander, Nigeria Formed Police Units to the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL), among others. Pioneer Police logistics Officer/NCC, Team Coordinator ECOWAS Mission, Guinea Bissau and Chief of Training, Department of Peacekeeping Operations, FHQ Abuja among others.”
The statement also added that CP Kwazhi is happily married with children and is an “experienced, embodiment of transparency, integrity and worthy of emulation.”
