THE Ejigbo local government caretaker chairman has been confirmed dead.
The caretaker of Ejigbo local government area of Osun state, Alhaji Raheem Issa Sofoluwe died earlier on Monday after paid Christmas visit to one of his leader in Ejigbo who is commissioner land and physical planning, Hon Gorge Alabi.
The Council chairman died at age 48 years.
According to report, he drove himself to hon Gorge Alabi’s house to pay homage after which he returned home and died few minutes later.
Effort was made to take him to hospital but he was confirmed dead on arrival.
Hon Raheem Issa Sofoluwe was swore in few months ago as the Ejigbo local government caretaker committee chairman by the executive governor of Osun state senator Ademola Adeleke.
Recalled last year before he emerged as local government caretaker committee chairman, he survived a very terrible motor accident where a life was lost but, his life was safed after spending months in hospital living on oxygen at a teaching hospital in Ilorin, Kwara state.
