.. as Ekiti Lawmaker encourages unity
In a meeting held on Sunday, December 24, 2023, Hon Idowu Odebunmi ID-ALUTA, Chairman of the House Committee on Youth and Sports Development, Innovation, Science, and Digital Economy, gathered All Progressives Congress (APC) party leaders in Oye Constituency 2 for a festive celebration. During the event, he distributed foodstuffs and charged party members to emulate the lifestyle of Jesus and extend love to the less privileged in society.
Hon Idowu Odebunmi emphasized the importance of loyalty to the party’s core values and urged continued support for the administration of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji. He expressed gratitude for the unity and love among party members, acknowledging their contributions to the success of the APC.
Earlier, Hon Idowu Odebunmi had celebrated the Christmas festival with student union leaders in Ekiti State, showcasing his commitment to engaging with various segments of the community.
During the gathering, various gifts such as rice, tomatoes, drinks, and more were shared among the party leaders. Hon. Idowu Odebunmi received praise for his effective representation of the constituency in the state House of Assembly. Notably, he had introduced more than two bills during the ongoing state Assembly session in 2023. His remarkable contributions to youth, sports, and good governance earned him the award for the Best Legislative of the Year 2023 by the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State (BSES).
