Ondo 2024: APC Chieftain, Adewale Adesola canvases support for Governorship candidate with electoral influence

Mr Adewale Adesola,  a member of the All Progressives Congress  ( APC ) in Ondo state , says for the party to contest and win the Governorship Election in 2024 , it must field a candidate of electoral influence and grass root appealing.

Adesola , who gave the advise in a statement issued to newsmen on Thursday in Osogbo , urged the ruling party against presenting a weak candidate for the governorship election.

He said the All Progressives Congress ought to present a candidate with credible, reliable and sound pedigree in order to have an easy and smooth victory.

” If i am to make a stand , i will choose Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin. He is savvy, shrewd, experienced  and has the popularity across the three senatorial districts to clinch victory for APC .

“Akinfolarin’s unwavering dedication to the development of his state has earned him support in his aspiration as  governor, ” Adesola said.

Accordig to him , the choice of Akinfolarin is premised on a vision for brighter tomorrow and his forward-thinking plans to addressing pressing issues in his state .

 ” Both opposition parties and the APC are solidly behind his aspiration to take his state to new heights ushering in a prosperous era for his state .
