Super Eagles drop by two points in latest FIFA World Ranking

Nigeria’s Super Eagles football team have dropped two places from 40th to 42nd in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola world ranking.

The latest ranking was published on FIFA’s website on Thursday, 30 November, 2023.

The drop in ranking comes after Nigeria played a 1-1 draw against Lesotho and Zimbabwe in their two opening fixtures in Group C 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

After the opening two games, the three-time Africans champions are third behind leaders Rwanda and second placed South Africa.
