Osun Govt: Citizens Are Aware Of Adeleke Working Vacation

The Osun State Government has insisted that Citizen are aware of Governor Ademola Adeleke working vacation to Europe and Asia.

 

This was contained in a statement issued by by Olalekan Badmus, Special Assistant (New Media) to Governor Adeleke and obtained by the Newsmen on Monday.

 

The statement reads, “Our attention has been drawn to a news item purportedly emanating from the office of the SSA to Governor Adeleke on New Media being circulated on some Whatsapp platforms and social media about a statewide broadcast by Governor Adeleke slated for tomorrow Monday 27th November, 2023.

 

“Governor Adeleke had duly notified Osun people of his working vacation to Europe and Asia, the first time he would take a break since assuming the governorship seat. He has also directed the Commissioner for Information to brief the media on the one year landmark achievements of the administration this Monday 27th of November.

 

“The Governor had also stopped any celebration of the one year in office to conserve state resources and to keep in line with the challenging times currently facing the citizenry.

 

“This news is fake and obvious handiwork of mischief makers. I did not issue any such statement. The general public is hereby urged to disregard this false information.”
