Amidst International Students Day, Oyebanji Announces N6.2b UBEC Fund -…NANS Commends Ekiti Governor

Amidst the international students day 2023, which comes up every November 17th, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Ekiti Joint Campus Committee (JCC), has extended profound gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Oyebanji of Ekiti state for his laudable commitment on education advancement in Ekiti State.

In a statement signed by the NAND Ekiti JCC Chairman, Aderibigbe Sikiru Adekunle said, “the recent allocation of #6.2bn UBEC Counterpart Fund by Governor Oyebanji underlines this commitment, demonstrating a strategic and commendable effort to combat illiteracy and school dropout rates. This substantial investment, which is set to bolster the free education policy at both primary and secondary levels, truly portrays the Governor’s dedication to fostering an educated and empowered youth populace.”
