A non-teaching staff of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, whose name is yet-to-be-revealed, has allegedly assaulted a female HND I Mass communication student identified as Folorunsho Tobi in the institution’s examination hall.

According to the victim, the invigilator who is said to be working in the counselling unit of the institution allegedly slapped her after she directed her colleagues on the right place to submit their answer booklets.

Tobi said: “After submitting my exam booklet, I discovered that some of my colleagues couldn’t locate the proper place to submit their booklets, so I notified them that this is the man (the alleged assaulter) collecting the booklet and the next thing he did was to slap me.”

Meanwhile, the students’ campus journalism body of the institution also reported that the invigilator confirmed that he slapped the student.
