Adeleke To Present 2024 Budget, Thursday

VAM News update

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State is to submit the 2024 budget proposals to the State House of Assembly this Thursday by 10am.

The Governor had earlier written the House Speaker, Hon Adewale Egbedun on the proposed submission as statutorily stipulated by extant laws.

In a step that cleared any huddle over the presentation, the State Chairman, Parliamentary Staff Association Of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter, Comrade Adekunle Adesina said the ongoing strike would be temporarily discontinued in order to enable the Governor to present the Appropriation bill for the next fiscal year.

Comrade Adesina had confirmed the readiness of the assembly workers to receive the Governor at the assembly premises.

The Governor is to be accompanied by members of the State Executive Council and the leadership of the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).
