Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has reinstated Mrs Abosede Folasayo Fagbola as Secretary, Osun State Judicial Service Commission.
In a statement issued by Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Spokesperson to Gov Adeleke, on Tuesday, said the order takes immediate effect.
The statement reads;
“Governor Adeleke Reinstates Mrs Abosede Folasayo Fagbola as Secretary, Osun State Judicial Service Commission
“The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has approved the reinstatement of Mrs Abosede Folasayo Fagbola as the Secretary of the Osun State Judicial Service Commission with immediate effect.”
Recall that on 30th of October, 2023, Gov Adeleke Ademola approved the dissolution of statutory commissions in the state with immediate effect.
Members of the statutory commissions have remained in office since Adeleke took over the mantle of leadership of the state on November 27, 2022, as they have fixed tenure of office.
The affected commissions are; the state Civil Service Commission, the Judicial Service Commission, the state Independent Electoral Commission and the state House of Assembly Service Commission.
According to a circular signed by the Secretary to the state government, Teslim Igbalaye, the dissolution takes immediate effect.
Also, a statement signed by the spokesperson for the governor, Olawale Rasheed, said, “The Secretary to the State Government conveyed the appreciation of Mr Governor to members of dissolved commissions for the selfless and meritorious service to the state.”
