The defected members were received during the NNPP Ward Executive meeting in Eke-Umunomo Market Square, Umunomo/Umuchieze ward in Ahiazu Mbaise by leaders of NNPP just few weeks after Comrade Ibeh Chukwuemeka, a former Strong voice PDP member registered with NNPP and promised to deliver his ward Umunomo/Umuchieze ward in Ahiazu Mbaise to NNPP during the upcoming November 11 Governorship election in Imo State.

The leaders of the defected group Mr. Osuji and Mrs Uzoegbu, a Frontline APC Chieftains, told the gathering that their decision was based on Comrade Ibeh humble disposition, visionary leadership, commitment and Political contacts to the welfare of his people at the grassroots.

“We on our own without influence by anybody decided to leave APC, LP and APGA with our supporters and join NNPP.

“The saying that when the righteous is in authority the people rejoice; NNPP and Comrade Ibeh represent the righteousness of heaven and the people are rejoicing. We in one voice commit ourselves to keeping your good works ongoing. We want to keep the good work of NNPP going”.

On his part, the organizer and voice of NNPP, Comrade Ibeh who received them, urged them to align and abide by the rules of the party and vote for Hon. Uche Ben Odunzeh, the Governorship candidate of the party in the coming election.

Comrade Ibeh used the occasion to empower the women and further advise them to come out en masse to vote for his principal Hon. Uche Ben Odunzeh who he described as perfect gentleman that can fix Imo State of our dreams.
