Victor Osimhen was named Man of the Match following Napoli’s hard-earned victory at SC Braga on Wednesday night.
The Partenopei started their campaign in this season’s UEFA Champions League with a 2-1 win at the Estadio Municipal de Braga.
Giovanni Di Lorenzo opened scoring for Napoli on the stroke of half time, While Bruma equalised for Braga four minutes from time.
Napoli won the game late on following an own goal.
Though Osimhen didn’t score in the game, he was recognised for his impressive display by the UEFA Technical Observer Panel.
“Fast and powerful, extremely dangerous in the box and brilliant play with his back to goal!,” UEFA wrote on their official website.
Osimhen has now failed to register a goal in his last three games across all competitions for Napoli.
