Rural Water and Environmental Sanitation Agency in Osun State, through the Special Adviser on RUWESA, has expressed its readiness to collaborate with donor agencies and development partners in order to restore the lost glory of the Agency.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on RUWESA, Hon Olarenwaju Odelade stated this during a stakeholders’ meeting in the conference room of the Agency.
Hon Odelade asserted that the present administration is determined to make life meaningful and comfortable for the rural dwellers and the citizenry in general, adding that in attestation to this, government has completed the drilling of boreholes in the nooks and crannies of the State.
He made it known that Rural Water and Environmental Sanitation Agency is set for rebranding for effective, efficient and productive service delivery to the people of the state.
According to him, “RUWESA will soon embark on programmes that will promote healthy living in rural communities through provision of potable water, sustainable sanitation and hygiene service delivery.
While appreciating the Governor of Osun State, Sen. Ademola Adeleke for the giant stride taken towards implementing developmental projects and programmes in the State, he commended the management and staff of the Agency for their expertise in maintaining and sustaining the vision, mission and core values of RUWESA.
Present at the stakeholders meeting were the General Manager of the Agency, Mr. Ademola Olarenwaju, Project Consultants and Directors in the Agency.
