Report reaching VOICE AIR MEDIA News indicates the passing of Major-General Bernard Onyeuko (rtd), and a respected figure in the Nigerian Army.
Major General Benard Onyeuko, a former Director, Defence Media Operations and Director of Procurement at the Defence Headquarters.
PRNigeria quoted “a credible source” as disclosing that he died this Saturday morning, August 26, 2023 after complaining of cold and was rushed to a private hospital where he died.
Another close friend to the deceased told PRNigeria that the retired general was hale and hearty on Friday until he fell ill on Saturday morning and passed away.
General Onyeuko’s last appointment was as Director of Procurement at Defence Headquarters Department of Logistics.
He retired from the Nigerian Army after the recent appointment of new service chiefs.
