Civil Service Week: Osun Labour Union Honours Gov Adeleke, 68 Others

As part of programs lined up for the year 2023 Civil Service Week, the Nigeria Civil Service Union (NSCU) Osun State in conjunction with the Office of the Head of Service, will tomorrow, Thursday, 24th August, 2023, honour the State Governor, Sen. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.

 

 

 

 

In a statement signed by the state chairman of the Nigeria Civil Service Union (NSCU), Osun State, Comrade (Dr) Christopher Arapasopo, a copy which was obtained by our correspondent, said the governor and 68 other eminent personalities who have distinguished themselves in their various endeavours will be honoured.

Comrade Arapasopo stated that the union is given out awards to both civil servants and other individuals, just to let them know that they appreciate them.

“As we are celebrating this year Civil Service Week, we have pencilled down some names which include Mr Governor to be awarded.”

“It’s undeniable fact that in the last few months of this administration, His Excellency, Governor Adeleke has delivered on some of his promises to the people and Osun workers.

“We are going to honour our amiable Governor, Sen. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen aAdeleke As Most Dependable Governor of the Year

“Other awardees are: Comrade Hassan Sumonu (Former NLC President) as Pillar of Labour in Nigeria, the Head of Service, Mr. Samuel Ayanleye Aina As Workers Ambassador, Comrade Sunday Adeleye, National President of Nigeria Civil Service Union As Visionary Labour Leader, Comrade Bomoi Mohamed Ibrahim, General Secretary, Nigeria Civil Service Union As Innovative Labour Leader, Comrade Olatunji Jimoh As Exemplary Leadership, among others.
