Adamawa govt reviews curfew, gives fresh directive

Adamawa State government has reviewed the 24-hour curfew earlier imposed on Sunday across the state.

The state government on Monday reviewed the curfew from 24 hours earlier declared to 6pm to 6am.

This development is to enable people to continue with their lawful businesses.

Recall that Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State imposed a 24-hour curfew across the state as a result of attacks on business premises by hoodlums.

According to reports, the curfew which became effective on Sunday, 30th July, was necessitated by unwarranted activities of hoodlums.

The hoodlums, it was gathered, broke into shops and business premises and carted away foodstuff, commodities, etc.
