Osun govt will prioritise residents’ welfare, says Information Commissioner, Alimi

THE Osun state government will not renege on the welfare of the people which is the number one in the cardinal points of the Ademola Adeleke’s administration.

This was disclosed by the newly sworn-in Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Barrister Kolapo Alimi as he resumed office at the Secretariat.

The Commissioner stated that his office will function as the face and mouthpiece of the government to enlighten the public on the activities of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Alimi who described his appointment and that of other commissioners as an opportunity to serve and to project the government, commended members of staff and called for their cooperation to give qualitative service delivery to the people.

While describing Gov. Ademola Adeleke as a goodhearted man who has the interest of the people at heart, the Commissioner solicited for the support of everyone towards the success of the government.

He also stated that his office will accept constructive criticism that will help in the development of the state through good governance to the people.
