VAM News Update
A Woman, her 8-month old baby, were abducted, on Saturday evening, by yet to be identified gunmen while transiting between Oke-Baale and Ayekale area in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State.
VAM gathered that the son and the mother, is a wife of a staff of Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, Osogbo, Mr Isaac Adedeji.
Isaac Adedeji who narrated the incident in Osogbo said, his wife who called with her phone immediately after the incident said they were going to Ayekale on a commercial motorcycle popularly known as Okada when they were waylaid and forced into a vehicle and taken away.
Since then, noting has been heard from the abductors, though her phone keep ringing but has not been picked.
The incident has been reported to security agency with a view to unraveling those behind the incident.
