NANS Passes A Vote Of Confidence On NSCDC Commandant General, Audi

THE National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has applauded Ahmed Abubakar Audi Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps over his giant strides and unrelenting approach in harnessing Corps under his watch for a more robust security activities in the country.

“As against a statement earlier released by Conference of Harmonized Civil Society Organizations (CHSCON) calling for the removal of Mr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, NANS has Passed a Vote on Confidence on him commending his person for reformation and forthrightness in terms of redefining the standard of NSCDC in the country at large”.

Comr Ezenagu Victor, Vice President National Affairs of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) notes that the advent of Mr Ahmed Abubakar Audi as Commandant General has caused a total overhauling of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps activities as against what it was known for before his emergence as the head.

“As of today the NSCDC has special units which include; Special Task Force, department saddled with investigation on cybercrime, Special Women Taskforce and many more. The aforementioned progress wouldn’t have been recorded without his visionary overview as per what the standard of the Corps should be.
Going forward NSCDC under his watch has completed and commissioned not less than Nine (9) states headquarters that are of standard and well equipped, he added.”

Therefore, as against the naysayers who are beclouded because of sentiments and are less concern about the betterment of the country, we call on Mr Ahmed Abubakar Audi not to be distracted in his commitment to standardize the NSCDC by making it a security network that serves the interest of Nigerians in terms of securing them at all time, he said.
