See how Gov. Yusuf pours encomiums on political mentor, Kwankwaso

Kano state Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, on Friday, described his political mentor and National Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) as an epitome of true leadership.

Governor Yusuf led his Deputy, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo and other members of his cabinet to pay homage to the Presidential Candidate of NNPP at his Miller Road Mansion, Kano.

He saluted Kwankwaso as part of Sallah festivities and extolled his virtues and leadership qualities, which he said has impacted positively on the lives of thousands of people in Kano, northern Nigeria and across the country.

Governor Yusuf joined thousands of Kwankwasiyya supporters to witness traditional music fanfare at Kwankwaso’s spacious mansion where they gathered and made merry as part of activities to mark the Sallah festivities.

According to him, the NNPP National Leader who served two-term as the state governor, “has mentored a lot of people and has remained the shining example in the state and the northern region.”

Speaking at a Gala organized by the Kwankwassiyya supporters, Governor Yusuf said Senator Kwankwaso, “stands out as a promoter of traditional music in the country, and it is a sign of encouraging cultural conscience.”

He expressed gratitude to Senator Kwankwaso for his fatherly advice and his guiding principles of empowering people.

Several artists and performers displayed their skills at the gathering to mark the Sallah festivities at Senator Kwankwaso’s residence.

The Vice Presidential candidate of NNPP, His Lordship, Bishop Isaac Idahosa, was among top dignitaries that witnessed the occasion.
