THE founder of Omega Power Ministries, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, on Friday, slumped at a yet-to-identified airport over an undisclosed illness.
The apostle, well known for his philanthropic gestures, has been in the news recently, one of which was sending the Happy Boys abroad after the Chicken Republic, where they worked as security personnel, sacked them for dancing while on duty.
Another is securing the late Deborah Samuel’s parents’ three-bedroom flat rent and gifting them a car.
The philanthropic gestures have been followed by controversy, with allegations that the gifts were discontinued, Apostle Chinyere has, however, denied the accusations.
In a viral video circulated across social media platforms, Chinyere was seen lying on the floor before being rushed to the hospital.
A terse post on the church’s verified Facebook page revealed that the Rivers State-based cleric was truly unconscious at the airport.
It read, “Please let us all endeavour to put our Father in the Lord in our prayers.”
Meanwhile, many of his church members and followers have taken to social media to pray for the cleric’s health.
