Operators of Point Of Sale (POS) in Lagos state will begin to charge N500 for withdrawals of N10,000.
Public Relations Officer of the Association of Mobile Money and Bank Agents in Nigeria, Lagos Chapter, Stephen Adeoye made the announcement during a business programme on Channels TV on Friday.
Adeoye explained that the development was to ensure uniformity in the service delivery within the industry.
“N1000 to N2,400 will be N100 for withdrawal. N3500 to N4000 will be N200; N4,100 to N6,400 will be N300; N6,500 to N7,900 will be N400; N8500 to N10,900 will be N500 for withdrawal”, he explained.
Adeoye added that the chairman of the chapter, David Abiodun, recently announced the pricelist to check the activities of agents in the habit of overcharging customers.
