Nigerian University SUG VP Resigns From Office Amidst School Fees Hike Saga

THE University of Benin, Benin City (UNIBEN) Student Union Government (SUG) Vice President, Idemudia Osasogie Divine has left UNIBEN Students and social media users buzzing after tendering her resignation letter on Monday.

In her resignation letter, the Student Union Government SUG Vice President, Idemudia Osasogie Divine revealed that she and her team have failed the students of the institution, asking that the students should remain courageous in their future bid.

In the letter Idemudia Osasogie Divine wrote: “WE HAVE FAILED YOU ALL, I plea that the Students remain courageous in their future bid to electing officers who will represent them in the nearest future…”

You will recall that the University of Benin recently increased their school fees for fresh students as newly intake Science and non-science are expected to pay #115,000 and #105,00 respectively.
