You will receive your salary on 25th of every month— Kano govt. promises civil servants

Kano state government has pledged to pay civil servant salaries on the 25th of every month.

 

 

 

The state Accountant-General, Alhaji Abdulkadir Adussalam, told journalists, on Sunday, that salaries of Civil Servants in the state would be promptly paid as at when due.

 

 

 

He added that his office is strictly adhering to the workers-friendly policy of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf administration.

 

 

 

He, however, also raised the hope of the workers as he announced the payment of June Salary by Monday (June 26).

 

 

 

 

He said this was because June 25 is (Sunday), a non-working day. He added that all unauthorised deductions from workers’ salaries will also be stopped.

 

 

 

According to him, “all illegal deductions from workers’ salaries will not be entertained by the current administration as everyone will receive his or her full salary package; including pensioners.”
