•Bishop Bamidele charges Tinubu to promote unity among Nigerians

Christians, across denominations, in Osun state have celebrated 2023 Pentecost Day with prayers and funfare, as founding Father of Victory Life International, Bishop(Dr) Mike Bamidele has advised the newly inaugurated President, Bola Tinubu to promote unity among Nigerians.

“The newly inaugurated President should fear God for himself, and he should promote unity among Nigerians. Muslim-Muslim ticket that he ran was a scary ticket, a fearful ticket that he enrolled it in his party and Nation, it has instilled fears in the minds of of our people, most especially to our Nothern brethren who have suffered so much from religious violence and intolerance.

“We are trusting that his moves will help peace to come, any mistakes that he makes that has any tendency of religious feelings, there will be a spark that may spoil the Nation”, he explained.

The Visioner also used the avenue to congratulate the President, and prayed that God will use him to galvanise resources, talents and gifts towards taking Nigeria out of the terrible decadence its going through in relation to economy and security and safety of lives.

“We are trusting that as the Power of Holy Ghost moves into the political arena, that there will be comfort for Nigerians from the horrendous hardship that we’ve gone through in the very visible ways in the last eight years. It’s been horrific, horrendous, very tiring but we trust that this coincidence will usher in comfort for majority of Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora”, he added.

He advised Nigerians to get connected with the power of the Holy Spirit, adding that it’s superior to political power and there’s great deal that politicians and government can do but there’s much more that God can do for each individual.

He implored that it is important for every Nigerian to know God at this time, stating that the coincidence between May 29 and transition of power was to send a message to every Nigerian to seek the power of God.
