Police Invite Osun Residents To Claim Ownership Of Goats Recover from Robbers

Osun State Police Command has invited residents of Osogbo, Ikirun, Obagun, Iree, Ila, Eripa, Otan-Ayegbaju and Iragbiji whose goats are missing to come for identification and collection.

This was disclosed in a statement released by the Command Public Relation Officer SP Opalola Yemisi Olawoyin.

According to her, those invited are people whose goats are missing between May 9 and 10.

The Statement reads ”This is to inform the general public especially the residents of Osogbo, Ikirun, Obagun, Iree, Eripa, Otan-Ayegbaju and Ila; whose goats are missing between 9th and 10th May, 2023 to report/come to State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Police Command Headquarters, Osogbo for possible identification and collection.”

It could be recalled that, on 10/05/2023 at about 0310hrs, police team from Safer Highway Patrol along Odeomu-Sekona axis arrested two suspects in possession of 14 live and one dead she-goats, which upon interrogation, the suspects confessed to have stolen the goats from the aforementioned locations within the state.
