Three clerics die in road crash in Ekiti

A motor accident which occurred along Otun-Iro-Ekiti road in Moba Local Government Area of Ekiti State, has claimed the lives of three clerics and a woman.

The deceased reportedly travelling from Ipere-Ekiti to Iro-Ekiti when the bus they were in somersaulted on Monday, May 1.

Five other clerics sustained various degrees of injuries and were taken to the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti, for treatment while the corpses had been deposited in the mortuary.

VOICE AIR MEDIA reported that one of the clerics who died was transferred from the Anglican Church in Ipere-Ekiti, and was on his way to assume duty in his new station in Iro-Ekiti when the incident occurred.
