Osun labour union clears air on April salary, says Gov. Adeleke “Is serious about our welfare”
The Osun State Labour movement wishes to debunked the rumour being peddled around by unscrupulous elements who are enemies of Osun workers, that the State government has failed in it’s monthly financial obligations to the Osun State Workforce by not paying salaries for the month of April, 2023.
We debunked this barefaced lie and unequivocally state as follows:
That the Osun State Government has effected the payment of April, 2023 salary of it’s workers since Friday 28th April, 2023.
That the employees of Local Government across the State have started receiving their salaries alert from the above mentioned date.
That the little delay with that of the State Workers is as a result of a minor technological issue being experienced by First Bank Plc and has already been resolved.
That the State Workers will start receiving their salary alert as from Tomorrow Monday, 1st of May 2023 which incidentally is an historical day to the Osun Workers.
That the “say and do” Governor of the State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke has also effected the April salary with the outstanding promotion (s) of the Osun State Workers.
At this juncture, the Labour movement wishes to assure the entire workers that the Administration of Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the welfare and well being of it’s workers are given the upmost deserved attention.
Wishing us all a happy May-Day Celebration in Advance.
Signed:
Comrade (Dr.) Christopher Abimbola Arapasopo, State Chairman Nigeria Civil Service Union.
