THE Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, was captured on camera shaking hands with churchgoers at the conclusion of the service in a viral video that went viral on Sunday.
In the video sighted by this newspaper on Sunday evening, Sanwo-Olu was seen shaking hands with churchgoers as they exit the church auditorium.
A Tweep, who posted the video, captioned it, “Mr. Governor don turn church greeter. Very nice man. Hope he will still do this after losing the elect.
This was after the church authorities had afforded him the opportunity to address the congregants.
Mr Sanwo-Olu’s shocking appearance, however, caused a stir, as the audience did enough to show disapproval for the man they continue to hold responsible for the October 20, 2020 #EndSARS massacre.
Since the flooring of the ruling All Progressives Congress at the February 25 presidential election in Lagos, Sanwo-Olu has been working at a frenetic pace to connect with aggrieved Lagos voters, most of whom are youths.
Sanwo-Olu, seeking a second term, is hoping for success in next Saturday’s polls. His ambition faces an unprecedented threat from the Labour Party which ended his party’s tight grip on Lagos in the last presidential election.
VAM reports that the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu had visited the civil servants who sustained various degrees of injury in the train/BRT bus accident which occurred Thursday March 9.
