The University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) Management Board has appointed Mr. Jim Uwadiae as the new Director of Administration.
The new director took over on January 31, according to a statement released by Joshua Uwaila, Head, Public Relations and Protocols, UBTH, and made available to journalists in Benin on Friday.
The statesman added that Uwadiae was appointed after Mr. Mustapha Jimoh-Kadiri retired.
Uwadiae was the Director of Administration in temporary capacity prior to his recent appointment, the statement claims.
“Jim Uwadiae, Esq. is an alumnus of the Bendel State (now Ambrose Alli University) and the University of Benin. He acquired a Bachelor’s degree in History/Education in 1991,” the statement said.
It added that Uwadiae also acquired a bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from the National Open University of Nigeria, and possesses the following post-graduate degrees from the University of Benin:
Master of Public Administration (MPA) 1997; Master of Health Planning and Management (MHPM) 2006, and Master of Laws (LLM) 2021.
Uwadiae is a fellow of the Institute of Health Service Administrators; the Nigeria Institute of Management, and the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators.
He is the Chairman, Institute of Health Service Administrators, UBTH Chapter and Chairman, Nigeria Institute of Management, UBTH Unit. CONTINUE READING…………………………………
