“God Ordained Victory” – Olu Of Ileogbo Kingdom, IUF Congratulate President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu

… Ileogbo Unity Forum President urges FG to make presence felt in Ileogbo

THE Olu of Ileogbo Kingdom in Ayedire Local government area of Osun State, Oba Abeeb Adetoyese Agbaje Arowookunjoye II, has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his landslide victory in the presidential election held on Saturday 25th February 2023.

The Monarch who is also the vice – Chairman, Osun State Council of Traditional Rulers, in a press statement issued through the national publicity Secretary of Ileogbo unity forum (IUF), Dr Ayotunde Adedokun, felicitated with Asiwaju Tinubu, describing his victory in the election as God ordained.

Oba Adetoyese Agbaje recalled the long, stormy and tortuous journey of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the Nigerian politics, stressing that he deserves to be commended and celebrated.

Based on past track record of democratic governance as the governor of Lagos State, Oba Agbaje is convinced that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government will surely make good the promises of massive infrastructural development and progressive policies, as encapsulated in his electioneering campaigns.

In his words, Oba Adetoyese Agbaje clearly stated: “Your election victory with majority votes gave me immense joy; and it is our hope as a community, that you will be able to put a lot of things back on track, now that you have the mandate of the Nigerian people to be our next president”.

In the same vein, the National President of Ileogbo Unity Forum (IUF), Mr Anthony Akanmu Owolabi, also felicitated with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his recent success at the polls. Mr Owolabi urged the incoming administration to make efforts at revamping the battered economy of the nation as well as take urgent steps in curbing the menace of national insecurity.

According to Mr Owolabi, “an improved security architecture in the country will go a long way in bringing foreign investors into Nigeria, as a means of boosting the ailing economy, and thereby generate gainful employment for the youths”. In revamping the economy, the National President of the IUF added that the rich experience of Asiwaju Tinubu in business and public Administration is a tool for promoting, enriching and deepening social democracy which will guarantee better life for the Nigerian people.

In concluding the goodwill message, the Monarch and the IUF National President urged the federal government to make its presence felt in Ileogbo, in terms of industrialisation and infrastructural development.

The duo wished the incoming administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Alhaji Kashim Shetima, the best of leadership, wisdom and God’s guidance to deliver on their campaign promises to the people of Nigeria.
