Ukraine President, Zelenskyy To Tinubu: Let’s Work Together

THE president of war-ravaged Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has congratulated Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate over his victory in the just concluded election.

Zelenskyy, on his Twitter handle, noted that he was ready to work together with Tinubu to overcome the global challenges including threats to food security.

The presidential elections have been marred by rigging and other malpractices amid calls from several quarters asking for sanctions for the national chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Mahmood Yakubu, while at least two of the other presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi have already gone to court to protest the outcome.

Meanwhile, the Ukraine president on his Twitter said, “Congratulations to @officialABAT on winning the Nigerian presidential election. I look forward to close cooperation. I’m convinced that bilateral interaction will be strengthened. is ready to work together to overcome global challenges, including threats to food security!”
