The Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi has won Saturday’s presidential election in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja with a wide margin.
Obi polled 281,717 votes to defeat Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who got 90,902 votes.
Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 74,199 votes to come third.
A total of 478,923 people were accredited to vote at the election.
The Labour Party’s presidential candidate won in four of the six council areas in Abuja while Tinubu won two.
