Tragedy struck at one of the polling units on Saturday, February 25, when a pregnant woman, identified as Shamsiya Ibrahim, slumped and died while waiting in the queue to cast her vote in Tsafe Area of Zamfara State.
VOICE AIR MEDIA gathered that pregnant lady slumped, and was rushed to Tsafe General Hospital where she was confirmed dead upon arrival.
According to eye witnesses, Shamsiya had traveled from Kotorkoshi area of Bungudu Local Government to Tsafe town, a distance of about 50kilometers to cast her vote
