#NigeriaElections2023: INEC cancels voting in 7 polling units in Kogi

VOICE AIR MEDIA News Update

THE Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has cancelled election in seven polling units of Kogi East Senatorial axis.

Two polling units were abandoned in Anyigba, Dekina council area, and five others were in Kogi State’s Omala council area.

Unit 01, Abejukolo ward in Omala LGA, was one of the units that was canceled.

VOICE AIR MEDIA News gathered that thugs disrupted these polling units, shot into the air and caused massive panicking, leading to an abrupt end to the voting process.

Recall that the Kogi State Government has said the excavation of some roads on Thursday in Kogi Central District is a deliberate security measure to cut off traffic on those roads to restrict its use by criminals
