The Police Chief commended the conduct of Osun voters for exercising the civic duties without causing rancour.

He said, “contrary to some predictions that Osun may be violent during election, the conduct of the election has been very successful and you’ll give credit to the police and all other security agencies including the military for the marvellous synergy and cooperation displayed in the course of preparation for this election.

“However, it has not finished, the job is not fully done because we have post election violence which we are on the ground to handle should it happen in Osun State. But so far, it has been very marvellous.

Oladipo warned politicians to accept the election as the security agents have capacity to deal with perpetrators of post election violence.

“You could see the security display. It’s obvious that we have apparatus to deal with such a situation. But with the conduct and comportment of the voters today, there may not be anything like such.”
