Naira swap: APC aligns with its Governors on policy

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Adamu, has said the party is in support of the position of its Progressives Governors Forum on the naira redesign policy.

The governors under the party had approached the supreme court, asking the Apex court to declare the directive of the President Muhammadu Buhari on the naira swap policy as unconstitutional.

According to report, the presidential candidate of the party, Bola Tinubu, met with party chairman and state governors at the party secretariat.

Adamu, who spoke shortly after the meeting said the party align with the Governors on the issue.
