2023 polls: Mass defection hits Ondo PDP as large members decamp to APC In Idanre

Scores of members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Omifunfun Unit, Ofosu/Onisere ward of Idanre local govt area in the Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency have dumped the party for the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), in Ondo State.

The decampees were assured of equal treatment by leaders of the APC in the ward, who are working to ensure members’ welfare is a priority.

APC Campaign Council led by the Director General, Hon. Akinnayajo Marcus (Innomack) who received the new APC followers, gave them assurance of fair treatment in Ofosu/Onisere ward following their bold decision.

The decampees described APC as a party that would continue to reposition the federal constituency for growth and development, urging those yet to make up their minds in joining APC, to do so before Saturday, February 25th.

The new members were led by Balogun of Umola camp in Idanre, he commended them for taking the bold steps in joining the progressives, pleading with all Constituents to join hands with Honorable Tajudeen Adefisoye (Small Alhaji) and other APC candidates and contribute their quota in the task of building a virile constituency.

The new members described the giant strides they have seen in infrastructural development recorded by the present administration in the Constituency as a product of hard work, transparency and dogged commitment of the House of Representatives’ member, Hon. Adefisoye Tajudeen, (Small Alhaji) of APC to impart governance and the lives of the people; which has engendered the populace to him.

The APC flagbearer for House of Assembly in Idanre constituency, Princess Tosin Ogunlowo Ajirotutu (PTO) who was on hand appreciated the defectors for making this bold move, and used the medium to keep the gathering abreast of her Agenda through robust representation. She therefore seek their votes on the 11th March 2023.
