Diamond FM’s Ajelogbon Bags Kwara Media Award

•Recognized as Kwara Political Presenter of the year

It was a gracious moment for Diamond FM, Ilorin as one of its Staff, Mukhtar Ajelogbon received the Special Recognition Award at this year’s edition of the Kwara Achievers’ Awards.

Ajelogbon who was honoured as the “BEST POLITICAL PRESENTER OF THE YEAR” at the event held on Thursday December 22nd, 2022 in Ilorin alongside others for their respective contributions to the progress of Kwara State through their various professional callings.

He is the anchor of the popular weekly Yoruba political cum community focused programme titled “ÈLÀ LÒRÒ” on Diamond 88.7FM, Ilorin every Sunday between the hours of 3 and 4pm with his unique style of presentation and distinguished way of asking questions that usually put the guests on the show on their toes which has feature representatives of all registered political parties in Kwara, community leaders, government and human rights activists among others to discuss topical issues affecting the populace.

Ajelogbon on behalf of the entire management and staff of the station appreciated the Chairman and CEO of Diamond FM, Senior Apostle Oluwole Awotuyi who employed and gave him the platform to showcase his professional abilities. He gave kudos to the organizer of the Kwara Achievers’ Award 2022 for what he considered an incentive to do more for the benefits of Kwara and Nigeria at large. He dedicated the award to the entire listeners of the shining supreme station Diamond 88.7 FM.

“On behalf of the entire management and staff of Diamond 88.7FM Ilorin, I am inspired and honoured by this award that bears recognition of our modest strides through me. We will not rest on our laurels but rather enhance our dedication to the people-oriented programmes that improve the quality of life.

“Though it came as a surprise to me, the Chairman and CEO of Diamond FM, Senior Apostle Oluwole Awotuyi who gave me a platform to showcase part of what I possess deserves more accolades. I must appreciate the management and staff of our station for the team work that gave birth to this recognition. I hereby dedicate the award to the numerous listeners of the shining supreme station,” Ajelogbon said.
