Some Super Eagles legends have landed in Kano to begin preparation for the Presidential campaign flag-off for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is aspiring to replace Buhari next year.
Tinubu is currently in London where he recently staged a press conference itemizing what he wants to do should he become the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
It is campaign period in Nigeria, and all aspirants are currently busy going around the country to win the hearts of those who will vote.
Three strong men are vying for the Presidential position, and they are Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, and Peter Obi.
According to a tweet posted by a political reporter, Yeri, the likes of Daniel Amokachi, Peter Rufai, Victor Ikpeba, Julius Aghahowa, Mutiu Adepoju, and Emmanuel Babayaro were all seen in Kano chilling ahead of the flag-off.
Even though these former footballers have not confirmed their status as being politicians, but they have never hidden their love for Tinubu.
Earlier this year, they went to Tinubu’s house in Lagos where they confirmed their readiness to support the 70-year-old.
Former Inter Milan defender Taribo West was even seen praying with all his strength for Tinubu.
