Nigerian Mother Jumps in excitement as her son Plays for Canada(VIDEO)

A parent’s greatest satisfaction is seeing their kids succeed in whatever field they choose and rise beyond them.

This is the account of a mother who witnessed her child play in Canada’s opening game.

Canada kicked off their World Cup campaign on Wednesday evening and there were many players who were gracing the big stage for the first time.

One of these debutants was Sam Adekugbe, born in London, United Kingdom to Nigerian parents and his family moved to Canada when he was just Nine.

He became a citizen of Canada and he is representing the National team on Football’s biggest stage.

Sam’s mother, Dee Adekugbe, could not contain her joy while watching her son on TV and she kept on screaming… My Son is in the world cup.

Dee seemed to have lost her voice as a result of her happiness but that did not bother her one bit because she was just super excited to watch her son Play football

Sharing the video, she wrote ;

My son @SamAdekugbe is in the world cup….oh my God. Hallelujah

Canada however lost their opening match against Belgium by a lone goal but they sure would be hoping to bounce back from defeat in their remaining matches.
